Credit restoration
Don't waste your time with these major credit companies. Freezing your credit report after identity theft issues is always not the solution.
The dent is already on your credit and your information is still out there . The best thing I did was to look out on X socials and found out private credit techie like rocketskycredit, who permanently removed the negative and unsolicited inquiries on my report . All seven collections from loan companies were cleaned up and this greatly impacted my credit positively .
I witnessed over 150+ score points increase within six weeks . Everyone should stay stuck with TU when they don't even unfreeze your credit to start with .

Dropped my credit by 164 points in one day
- - Air Ref misdiagnosed; a high-voltage wire near a low-voltage wire sparked and I paid for repairs.
I put in a charge dispute with a company named Air ref. I have a contract with them for my Air Conditioner, which is only four years old.
They sent a repair man who misdiagnosed and placed a high voltage wire on top of the low-voltage wire that ended up burning through and literally giving off sparks that could have caused a major fire. I hired a ac company to come out and repair my AC?out of my own pocket. This company provided me with a letter stating what happened. When I called Air Ref they said that that repair man was no longer with them.
Clearly they do not vet their repair men before they send them to your house.
I put in a dispute and because of that Trans Union lowered my score by 164 points. Ridiculous!

Take Trans Union to court!
ONLY 24 months of free credit monitoring.
This is an insult to consumers. TransUnion knows very well that a stolen SSN can be used to commit fraud for the rest of a persons life not just for 2 years. They profit off our personal data, but when they fail to protect it, they try to wash their hands with the bare minimum.
I am demanding 10 years of credit monitoring at minimum. I have reported this breach to the FTC, DOJ, FBI, BBB, North Carolina Attorney General, and I am pursuing legal action in small claims court in Union County, NC for the maximum amount of $10,000.
TransUnion has shown they do not care about consumer protection, only their bottom line.
If you were impacted, dont settle for their weak response report them and demand accountability.

My credit score was unexpectedly lowered from 791 to 600 after opening a new account. To address this issue, I called customer service and waited on hold for ages, but no one answered.
Next, I attempted to resolve the matter online by filing a dispute.
The website prompted me to create an account, which I did, and I was charged $26.20 in the process. However, my account could not be activated due to incorrect information. To resolve this, I was instructed to call customer service again.
I called and waited for another 30 minutes, but once again, no one answered.
Now, I am unable to get a refund for the $26.20 charge because I must resolve the account issue first, but I cannot get any assistance from your customer service team. As a result, I am stuck paying for a service that I cannot use and have not been able to resolve.
In summary, TransUnion made an error, and I have paid for it without receiving any resolution.
