TransUnion showed an incorrect late payment on a credit card account. I filed a complaint with TransUnion to resolve it.
During the waiting period for TransUnion to fix the issue, our credit card company sent their monthly update to TransUnion (which fixed the problem, erased the late payment, and restored our credit score to 720). But what did TransUnion do? The following week, as a resolution to our original complaint, TransUnion dropped our credit score back to 650 claiming a late credit card payment. I called the credit card company and was guaranteed that we were in good standing with all payments made on time.
But according to TransUnion, we have an overdue payment of 60+ days with zero solution to the problem.
TransUnion is 100% to blame for this and I can't get a decent car loan as a result. TransUnion has zero worth and nothing to offer but pure incompetence and frustration.
